My birds do have their own cages now. So they are only together when I get them out of the cage. Just now, on their play stand they we touching butts together.... WHY??? Please tell me why????

... ........ .. convenience, maybe? Unless there's another breederish kinda bonding thing that involves tail feathers. LOL Which there could be. Maybe like keeping your foot on top of your boyfriend's under the table when you're eating just for the contact?

And.
If they are breeding birds, do they do that kind of behavior at other times of the year?
Could they do those kinds of things if they are two boys or two girls???
They were not just rubbing feathers. They were rubbing BUTTS! AND.. they were connecting beaks....
I thought that they were just doing their little pecking order thing, but then my little sister
said, "Why are they feeding each other?"

Beats me ..my boys just hump their toys , maybe you have 2 girls I can`t help.... sounds like Love is in the air....
