Don't Ever Give UpThis was posted on my FaceBook by a friend. Boy did I need that right now. I'm hurting, in pain, and becoming depressed, even tho I know things will work out. I feel like I'm being a HUGE burden on my daughter and won't ever be able to get up and walk again on this knee. So this was perfect timing...

All I could think of was Dori from "Finding Nemo"....
"Just keep swimming... just keep swimming... just keep swimming, swimming, swimming. We like to SWIM!"
Thank you for that! =)

Jo, thanks for sharing that with us.
You know its totally natural for you to be feeling as you are. But don't beat yourself up. Even if you were to be a burden on your daughter look at it this way....You took care of her for 18 years and probably still do from time to time...Its her turn to return the favor and I'm sure she doesn't mind a bit.
You do have other choices you know. You can go to a convelescent center until you're able to get up and motate on your own. I don't think your daughter would want that for you though...So when this is all over and done, do something nice for your daughter as a thank you for taking care of you while you needed her.
Hang in there gal, it will get better.
Sending you big hugs...

I didn't attempt to view the video (speakers don't work unless my son is around (go figure)). But I just wanted to let you know that you're in my thoughts, Jo. Hang in there. *hugs*
