Jinx would never accept treats, even her previous owner tried. Well yesterday she did! I have been doing the whole yummy eating in front of her, since she has been here, and yesterday, while eating dry cookie crisp lol she actually tried it for the first time! she also took a sunflower seed from me, as well as a pumpkin seed woohoo! I realy wanted her to accept treats as it seems it will be easier to train her. I am so excited!

Oh and I also got her to step up a few times for me as well. So far only outside the cage, but heck progress is progress right? lol

she also learned kisses! he he he! what a total doll!! she wont give me kisses with anyone around, but i love it!

WOO HOO! Congrats on the happy news!

I think that is a TON of progress, on numerous fronts! Sounds like you are doing it right! I say every "little" thing is really part of a really BIG thing, so we should celebrate it all! It means forward progress, afterall.

My big news is today, one of my totally handshy rescues came to me from accross the room when I called him. He landed on my head (of course) but let me walk him back to his house, where he promptly hopped off. I see that as HUGE, so kisses, eating treats and stepping up to the top of a cage are like earth shattering events! GOOD on YOU!!!!!
