At the top of QP only forum, is a small box, labeled important topics. In this box, is only One topic?!?!?!?!!?!?!!?!?!?!!?!?

Some one posted to the forum today, what I think is a great idea!

link to post

On a different forum, there are several topics of interest, at the top, called "Stickys"

I'm not suggesting changing the name, I'm STRONGLY SUGGESTING this topic be added to "Important Topics", among others. There are several topics "Newbies" always question. Post a couple "Hot Topics" in "Important Topics"

I know this has been mentioned in different ways. I also Know these topics are covered on the "Home Page".

Most people go to the "forum" to ask questions.

Just drop a couple FAQ topics in a form you already have, "Important Topics"!!!!!

If you don't do this, why does "Important Topics" exist????????????????????

Actually all topics are important and only those that would be viewed regularly and very often are "pinned". Otherwise we would have everything pinned to the top.

I agree that the topic you have suggested should be "pinned"! As plucking is a behaviour I have moved it to the behaviour forum and pinned it there.

All members need to do is suggest a pinned topic otherwise we may not know there is valuable information that could be pinned. We will look at the thread being suggested and determine whether or not the information will be pinned

Keeping in mind that if the subject exists on the website then users can be looking there as a resource or search the forum .. Just because something isn't pinned doesn't mean the subject can't be found elsewhere ... and we can't pin everything ..

Thanks
