Well, we went to Springfield earlier today, so we stopped by PetSmart. They had the ZuPreem pellets I wanted to get for KeeWee, so I bought them. Came home, dumped the seed from his bowl out, opened the bag up, put some in the dish, and KeeWee LOVED them! He has already ate one-fourth of a cup so far! I haven't even had to mix in his seed! The are the Cockatiel sized pellets with no colors or fruit, just plain ol' pellets. I'm just so exicited! I was afraid I would be buying 50 different brands before he would eat pellets! He's been on seed for five years so this is a good change for him. Not to mention healthier...

AWESOME! I would be so happy if my birds did that. My parakeet and parrotlet wont touch anything BUT seed! I am making sure my quaker will eat pellets. he is four months so it will be an esier change. not as easy as yours though!

Now that's luck! But aren't all people lucky who are owned by QPs? There are no other birdies like the sweet little green (and blue) monsters!

You are lucky.
I've had a couple fo stubborn ones to deal with switching off seeds.
I recently found out I can get Harrisons organic here. I thought for sure it would be wasted money, but they all switched over with no problems. Even my stubborn parrotlet. To be honest though it was probably more the fact I already had them alternating between Roudybush and Tropican. So now I have a third alternative. LOLOL
The Harrisons is supposed to be really healthy, but its freakin expensive. Not sure if I'll incorporate it or not.

Congratulations to you & KeeWee! That is great! Evidently you have a health conscious Quaker! He knows healthier food when he eats it and so he eats it! Some of our birds are like us, they love their "junk" food & would rather eat it than to eat healthy food! KeeWee keep up the good eating!

Wow, that's an easy switch!

You're definitely very lucky! Just make sure he's still eating doesn't revert in a few days, lol.
