Cosmo refuses to try any fruits or fresh veggies. I have tried lots of different types but when i try to offer them to him he will just lunge. I have tried putting them in his food bowl but he just throws them out or eats around them. It took a very long time to get him on pellets and finally he started eating them. But we have had no luck with anything else. Yoshi on the other hand LOVES trying new foods all the time. Is it ok that Cosmo isnt getting any food but his pellets? Any ideas on how to get him interested in eating other foods? Thanks in advance!

Have you tried hanging them on a skewer ..start off with apple and corn that seems to be the favorite of most fids....and don`t give up..

I have not tried that yet. We have some skewer sticks around the houes so I'll try it... How do you fasten it to the cage?

I have the same problem as you! My birds will not eat any friuts or veggies! Lol, idk why they wont I wish they would soooooo bad. Here is a pic of Chandler.

Eat the food in front of him and turn away like you are hiding it from him. Donot share until and he is going nuts and begging you for some. Works everytinme.
