Hello all! My name is Chia! I am 22 and live in Juneau/Beaver Dam, Wi. I have had birds since I was 6. I've had parakeets, conures, cockatiels, and indian ring necks. My mother owns a quaker parrot named Joey, but she sees him as my "boyfriend" seeing as he will climb down his perch, RUN across the living room, and climb up my pant leg to get attention. She got him 2 years ago on September 12th, when he wasn't even 2 months old (he was born June 21st). He gets along well with my dads Sun Conure, Sunny, but doesn't like my 2 parakeets, Luigi and Guido, because they always tease him. I have yet to tell him about the Pionus my boyfriend and I recently bought from a friend, seeing as Joey might get jealous....you know how boys are lol.Well that's my lengthy introduction, feel free to ask me any questions!

haha! well, i guess the best boyfriend a girl can have, is her bird, huh? hes a silly little fellow!
he can say: Joey, Jo Jo, Hi Joey, Hi Jo Jo, Pretty Bird, Sasha (my parents great danes name), Lay Down, Hey Baby, Hey! What are you doing?, he can also laugh and once he starts, he doesnt stop lol

Not alot of people in Wisconsin are familiar with quakers. I tell people about him and they ask what kind of bird he is and when i tell them, they gimme the "uh, no clue" look. He is, honestly, the funniest bird i have ever experienced in my life!
