Dani, People call me Weeza because it's southern for Weezer. She was the old neighbor gal in Steele Magnolias who yelled and complained all the time and loved every minute of it. She was played by Shirley McLain. My horse group started calling me that when we all met (we meet every summer...somewhere) and I started bossing one of the gals around (in a SILLY way, of course) I still boss her around and they all love it!

What Connie says is true, subtlety is not her strong suite!

I have yet to watch Steel Magnolias......I've heard it's a tear-jerker, and I don't do so well with those...... I do love me some Dolly, Julia Roberts, Shirley McLaine, and who else......Sally Field?? Is that right? An excellent cast!!

Dani, it's a tear jerker, but only for a minute. The director is amazing. He came up with the ability to make you start roaring laughter just a few seconds after the tears start. It's one of my favorite movies of all time! You'd laugh most of the way through it, I promise.

You're right Jo .... the cemetary scene is sooooooooooooooo funny!! Go from tears to falling down laughter in seconds!!!!
