ok, so Joey stays at my parents house, seeing as hes SUPPOSED to be my moms bird. After work one sunday, I went over to my parents because if i dont go see Joey EVERYday, he throws a fit and wont talk to me for DAYS! Well, my older sister, her boyfriend, and their year old+ Great Dane were up visiting. I went over to pick Joey up, and noticed that one of his little "nostrils" was bloody and a little bigger than the other. That was about, well, June-ish maybe, and about 2ish weeks ago, i noticed that it is now, alittle bigger than it was earlier.

Could he have done that cuz he was stressed from all the commotion? Is it something I should worry about? Because, other than that, hes the feisty little bugger he has always been.

Sounds like a vet visit may be in order. Is their smoke in the house. He could also have a sinus infection. I would get him to a vet asap.

It sounds like he may have scratched a nare and it got infected...Or he could have a upper respiratory infection going on. He probably needs a round of antibiotics so he should be seen by the vet, if its been going on for this long and there's been no improvement he definitely needs to be seen by a vet.

Not sure where you are located but if its been really dry there you might also want to get a humidifier going in the room where his cage is located.

I agree a vet visit would be in order I think , the earlier you catch something the better.... good luck..
