Well after nine long months of waiting we're finally holding little Jackson in our arms. He was born on October 13th and weighed 7 pounds 15 ounces. He was 19 3/4 inches long. After my third version he still wouldn't turn so we ended up having to do a c-section. It was the safest option at that point for him and me both. Let me tell you, I do not do well under anesthesia. wacko.gif But we've got a healthy little boy at home now so that's all that matters. He's already lifting his head on his own and has quite the personality. He'll let you know when he's not happy about something. He'll also lay peacefully staring at you too. It's just unbelievable. I'm hoping to get back on the forum more often but no promises. I'm still trying to get used to sleeping in 2 hour increments.

What a doll! Not as good as a baby Quaker laugh.gif , but a pretty good score! I'll bet he's completely running the house, too, isn't he? How are YOU? Getting over surgery AND taking care of a baby has to be tough.

Awwwww.... he's beautiful! LOL And he's got twice as much hair as my daughter who turns two next week. Now I'm jealous!

I'd heard you were no longer pregnant! I'm glad you got to take a few minutes to let us see him! He is beautiful! And all that hair ..... ohmy.gif ..... For the next 20 yrs or so, you'd better get used to the sleeping in 2 hr increments laugh.gif First infant feedings, then teething, ear infections, illness, cranky, hungry, diapers, toddler climbing out of bed, school agers needing that costume or science project TOMORROW, teenagers staying out later than curfew ... see, almost 20 yrs of it!! laugh.gif laugh.gif

Glad all went well with you. Jackson is gorgeous! I love the little baby squeaks and gunts when they are so new ... Hope you get a few minutes now and then to keep us up to date on how he's doing (and how YOU are doing).

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

**ps how do you like your name change .... MOMMY!!! biggrin.gif
