Hello there fellow Aussies

I'm Dave, I live in Sydney. I'm getting a Quaker in a few weeks and I can't wait! I've owned budgies before, and a cockatiel, but a quaker will be a totally different experience I have no doubt. I'm constantly on the internet reading as much as I can about them before I bring my new little mate home!

Chances are I'll even be moving soon to accommodate him. I rent a flat, it's quite small and my real estate agent isn't getting back to me (I am trying to do everything right by letting them know that I'm bringing a bird in, technically I am not allowed to have pets). Moving will mean subletting the flat and finding a new one but I know it'll be worth it to set up a space where the birds and I can be comfortable.

Great to find some Aussies on here. This site is wonderful, if you'd like to see one specific to Australian Quaker owners have a look at www.ozquaker.net although there are no cool forums on there like this one.

Cheers

Dave
