Someone a while back posted an eBay store that had some wonderful prices on cages. It was within the last month and I went back to see if I could find it and I can't! We need a good travel cage for Thanksgiving so we don't have to break down the huge main cage down to take it to our hometown for the holiday. I figured that if they had the nice big cages for $75 then they'd have some good prices on smaller cages as well. So if anybody has a link to a really great eBay store that you've found to have great prices I'd appreciate some help!
Also, while I'm on the subject, I know that a cage minimum is 18x18 and our main cage is plenty larger than that. My question is how big does a travel cage need to be if it's only going to be used for a week at a time? I'm having a hard time finding 18x18 without finding one that's larger than that and too big to travel.
Thanks in advance for any tips or links!

Here are some collapsable travel cages on line I would probably get the second one 20x16 1/2 "

I bought my cages from a store in Spokane, WA. They are both HQ cages and measure about 18 x 18 or a little bit bigger. The birds are only in there for a short time, like a week. I also use them as sleep cages. They work quite well. I just googled the site but couldn't find those cages, sorry.....

President is a good line for smaller cages and 18 x 18 is a good size if they're going to be in them a lot. But still get a fair amount of out of cage time.

When your traveling and you don't want to have water sloshing around, cut up watery type fruits like apples, melon, grapes, banana's etc so they still get moisture but no slosh.

Thanks for all the advice y'all. And great tip on the water Andie's mom! It's only a two hour drive but I'd still like the option to be there. After all, I can't go five minutes without drinking out of my ever handy bottle of water. Don't want the baby to feel dehydrated. He actually does really well in the car and has a little carrier, so the cage would be for once we got there. And in case we go on any other little trips. Wouldn't be hard at all to fit a bird into a hotel room! lol. Haven't had a lot of luck with getting baby to eat real food yet, but we're still working on Andie's mom's seed conversion method. We're only in week one and the hard headed little baby is finally tasting the pellets. The first two days all he did was quake when you went to talk to him, wanting seed!
