KeeWee has a new favorit toy! I finished up the rest of my tic-tacs yesterday, and thought, "Hey, this container would would be a good bird toy." So, this morning I filled it up with pony beeds, seed, and pellets and KeeWee LOVES it! He is still trying to get to the seed underneath all of the beads and pellets. It makes for a really good beak/foot toy, because they have to open the lid.

Wow, that sounds like a really good idea. Thanks! That would definately make for a good foraging foot toy.

I have a couple things of tic tac laying around. I may have to empty on and fill it with bird friendly things for Joey. I don't think I would give in to my sennie though, because he chomps through everything. If he broke the toy open he could hut himself on the sharp plastic.

what an awesome idea!! cricket loves trying to open anything that is closed and it would keep him busy (and frustrated and hopefully quiet) while trying to get to the yummy treat!

I did that before but i just gave him it empty and he open and close the lid for awhile was funny watching think he like the smell of the orange tic tacs lol. Next time i'll put some stuff inside.

Wow, I just emptied my tic tac container to see if he would like it. Well he just looked at it for a second, but once I opened it he was sold. Grabbed it and ran to the back of his cage to play with it. There isnt even anything in it yet lol. Great toy!!

Ohhh I must try this! I know my fids would LOVE it! Right now their favorite foot toy is this box I made out of connext? (Not sure if thats what they are called... They were my little brother and sisters toys that I stole for the fids.. Like I usually do ) They love taking it apart and then making me put it back together so they can start all over again
