I'm going to be a pirate for Halloween and I wanted Clyde to play the role of my parrot (what a stretch, huh? laugh.gif ) just for photos at home. I have a toy parrot for bringing to work and to the Saturday night party I'm going to. But Clyde hates my pirate hat (it IS rather big and has a long plume) and he's being a diva. It takes him weeks to get used to a new thing, and sometimes it takes MONTHS -- he only just decided a few days ago that my guitar won't eat him and consented to sit on my head while I played it, and he's been seeing guitars and other instruments since he moved in with us in May 2008!!! Well, I don't HAVE months and months to get him used to the hat. He will sit on my shoulder if I take off the hat. Do I have to have my photos without my hat? Any ideas on getting him to agree to photos WITH the hat? Perhaps an eye patch ... for HIM, not me. tongue.gif
Quincy's Slave
laugh.gif No ideas at all but I want to see the picture!

The photo you entered in the contest, He was wearing a hat. Maybe, reminding him that it didn't eat him, he'll realize yours won't eat you.

My other idea is, CUT, COPY, PASTE. Just don't get any PASTE on Clyde. laugh.gif

That wasn't Clyde wearing the hat in the contest. I didn't get around to entering him. Don't tell him; he'll never forgive me.

There's still the Photo Majic opt!! No paste on Clyde!

You are lucky. Verde is terrified of my 6 yr olds toy guitar. I mean terrifed. I have no clue why. I persuaded him to give it away to his best friend over the summer. Well his little friend, being the little emphatic sweetheart he is, thought Richard might be missing it and brought it back here, last week, much to Verde's and my dismay!!
