Yoshi's Mommy
I recently ordered a flight suit for my little guy. I'm wondering if anyone else has used these and what they think of them? It sounds like a great idea. No poop on my shoulders means more out of cage time for Yoshi. However, I'm wondering if he will just pick at it until he destroys it?

Here's the link to the flight suit:

I have a flight suit of Santana but he's not crazy about it. Here is a picture of him with it on - he looks like an uphappy superhero! laugh.gif

Max has one. I don't put it one him all the time.
I will say this...when I first got it I took it out of the package in front of him, he freaked, like he does with new toys. So I left it on his play stand for about two weeks. He saw it everyday. When I got ready to try it on him it was no problem. He didn't pick at it at all.

You might try that if he is scared at first.

This is our first ever post, so sorry if I don't do it right.
Bello got a flight suit a little while ago, and we followed the instructions in getting him used to it, and then tried it on him.
He really didn't like it and we only put it on once in a while and then not for a long while, until recently.
I put it on him even tho I could tell he really didn't want it, and to calm him I sang to him and rubbed his head to get rid of the prickly new feathers. While I was rubbing his head, I noticed that a new feather that wasn't even opened yet had come out. I looked at where it had come out of and there was a little bit of blood on his head.
When I saw this I was really upset and I noticed that while usually if it hurt him he'd have told me, but he didn't this time.
Also while he has his flight suit on, and is really upset, he moves his tongue up and down, up and down. And sometimes just leaves his tongue on the roof of his mouth with his mouth open a bit.
For now, we are not using the flight suit, until we get further info.
I'm really worried, so please get back.

Also this isn't related, but what am I supposed to do when he regurgitates?

I wouldn`t put the flight suit on him as he is showing signs of distress ..

I tried on on Sunny one almost lost a finger and lots of Blood (MINE) ..so neither of the boys wears one they are flighted and only go outside in a cage....

If he is regurgitating on you just say no stop it and put him on his cage and ignore it..he is just showing his love to you ..or a favorite toy ..lol.. so feel honoured...smile.gif
