I hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween tomorrow. Does anyone have fun party plans or a cool costume to post pictures of?

Zach and I are going to a costume party as Billy Mays (Zach) and a bunny (me)....smile.gif Fun, fun!!!

My grandma made my costume YEARS ago, I wore it when I was a freshman in high school......but it's super cute! And Zach resembles Billy Mays, and even bought some "Hercules Hooks" so it works! "Billy Mays here with Hercules Hooks, the strongest, most useful wall hooks you'll find anywhere!" LOL smile.gif

Do you have plans, Catherine?

Actually not this year, I'm staying in and watching scary movies! We are not even doing candy for the kids this year. It seems like the number of kids declines every year and last year it was mostly teens.
Andie's Mom
I don't really have plans either; we only have 1 little girl on the block so I'll probably just put together a little treat bag for her and call it good. I used to be a big halloween fan...really got crazy with decorating etc. Loved to see all the little kids dressed up. But now like Catherine said, its mostly teenagers so I'll probably just turn off the lights and lock the gate.

I guess when Andie was younger, if she was out trick or treating, then I felt I should give out Candy or treats to others as well...but since she's long outgrown that (I think) I don't bother. Most of the time I was "One of THOSE" who didn't give candy away anyway, I gave pencils and things like that. And wouldn't you think, being a dental assistant I'd give candy to keep the job security smile.gif wink.gif biggrin.gif

I might be hiding in my basement... *grins*

This is the first year in 16 odd years that I don't have my kids for Halloween. I didn't make costumes, I've already hacked up the Jack'O'Laterns for pie, and we rented "The Proposal" last night for tonight. Last night we watched "Duplicity"... FUN movie! We'll probably try to fit both of us, the two dogs, and I'm sure the two cats onto one three seater couch.

I don't really go out anymore because I find all of the "adult" halloween parties involve copious amounts of alcohol and we don't drink. *shrugs*

I don't drink a whole lot, but it's kind of fun to stay sober and watch people who do drink too much make fools of themselves....smile.gif

I stay home and give out candy while I'm eating it. My husband goes with my daughters and the grandchildren treak or treating.
I always liked giving out candy and now that I have grandchildren, its fun.

They come to my door several times, and then hope I have candy left over so they can spilt it.
But I always get candy I like and any leftovers get hidden for ME wacko.gif blink.gif rolleyes.gif

My mom is so UNFAIR! This could be my last Halloween and we have to go on a scavenger hunt at home instead of trick or treating! She says we can't go out because it is a pagan holiday. I mean I'm a Christian, I don't even believe that stuff about the dead, or anything like that. We just like to go out because it's fun to dress up and get candy.

My hubby caved and bought candy dry.gif That means he's also going to be the guy running to the door every 5 minutes.
Casey's Mom
Happy Halloween to you too! We handed out candy but we didn't have to get up every 5 minutes, as like everyone else said there aren't as many kids anymore. Here is a pic of the pumpkins outside...

Love the pumpkins!! I didn't do any this year, previously thought it's usually been around 8-9 that we've carved.

I'm sitting here enjoying a nice glass of wine while hubby is running laugh.gif laugh.gif life is good!

Luv the pumpkin carvings. I dressed up like a good witch for the kids when they come to the door. I didn't get too many this year. Pico was scared of my hat and wig. I stayed out of his sight so he wouldn't take a heart attack. Hope everyone had a spooktacular halloween.
