Sorry this is off topic but, It has been almost a year since I quit smoking and noticed how good my Quakers little green head smells. It has been a really rough year, as I spent 7 weeks in ICU, technically died 3 times in surgery, then I had to relearn to walk, got home with major tingling, numbness and burning in my hands and then in March one of my brother's passed away, then my room mate's dog passed away. Still, all in all my green "Little Max" helps make life worth living. Not seeking sympathy, just glad to still be here. laugh.gif

Hear, hear!! Yay for breathing!
Sounds like you worked pretty darn hard to continue taking breaths, so I'm glad you're enjoying them. Hope next year is a MUCH better one for you.

So sorry to hear about your trials. Glad to hear your doing well now.

Yes, they do have a special smell. I've heared many descriptions. I think SMOOCHES smells like a "Freshly Powdered Diaper".

Heads up!!!! this post will be moved to For All Members,......General Chit Chat.

Enjoy Breathing!!!!!

Congrats on the quitting smoking! It is so hard to do- but I did it also. Dec 15, 1993 was when I quit- after almost 21 years of smoking.
I will pray that you stay quit, and for God to give you peace about all of the trials that you have been going through, and all of the losses that you have suffered.
God bless you.

Congrats on quitting! It is so hard. I been there too. I am now going on 11 yrs! So glad that you have your little green buddy to be there for you. It does make a big difference when they are there for us. And great news Quakers are way easier to breathe around than other breeds of birds.
