OMG! That's a great costume. When I went as a pirate my costume was not nearly as nice. Both girls are on my shoulders. Can a pirate have two parrots LOL.

We dropped into a bar where a friend's band was playing and some guy asked me, "Is that a real bird?" Okay, pal, it's not THAT dark in here, so you must be drunk. Like I'd take a real bird into a bar.

And yes, Understudy is hardly any trouble at all. He doesn't eat much, and he has a switch under his tail, so if I want him to be quiet, I just turn him off.
