Hey guys, I'm looking for a little help.

In Fl., there is a great number of wild parrots. Not only in flock size, but range of species.

I started a blog called: Florida's Wild Parrots. If you know any one in Fl. that may be able to add photos, descriptions, locations, that would be great!!!!

Do you just want Florida residents or Florida visitors too?
I am on this forum because I saw the quakers in Florida and fell in love with them. This year I saw a big flock on Nanday parakeets too.

Great, I will do that. One more question: Do you want seperate postings for each sighting? My pictures were mostly taken at the same town, but different locations and at different times. Should I post seperately?

Sure, Maybe you can add locations.

I just tried it the first time. I cannot see the pictures on preview. If it is anything but birds, don't publish

Great idea!!! I've got my books all packed away, but in Parrots in the City (Jon-Mark & Joann Davey with Mattie Sue Athan), they talk about going with the power company and taking the young QPs out of the nests. You may want to get in touch with the writers of the book, as I'm sure they have lots to share with you and I know are passionate about the subject.

Jon-Mark also made several videos. In one ( A Day In The Life.......), there was vid, and pics of a tower with many nests. He said it was near his home in Deerfield. I live a few miles from that tower. I sent several Emails, but got no response. Thanks for the idea though.Click to view attachment
