Rosie and her mom
When my sweet little Georgie died a big part of me died, I had him for twenty six close to twenty seven years. He was my baby, he had a real good and happy life. I have so many wonderful memory's of him, It was so hard to lose him but I know he is happy and flying free. I think the thing that I really miss with George is the way he used to tell me no when I wanted him to go in his cage. rolleyes.gif
I would like to share some thoughts with you, There has been so many times that I have heard people say (and I was one of them) that when they lose one of their beloved pets that they don't want to get another one, well first you have to give yourself time to grieve it may take a few months or it might take a few years and some just can't, my heart goes out to everyone who has lost a beloved pet and I even cry with everyone. I guess what I am trying to say is PLEASE don't close your heart, I almost did, and if had I would not have my sweet lovable little Rosie, it does not mean that I don't love George anymore, I will always love and miss that little stinker!!! You always have enough love to give and share

I know that pain ...Part of my heart has gone in the Shape of JJ my king Parrot ...its been 5 years this last September and its still as if it was yesterday ..I have my two little fids (they were part of the flock with JJ) but I could not and will never get another King Parrot ...
My memory post about him is in here somewhere way way back , but each year in September I post a little memorial to him , there is not a day go`s by when he isn`t thought of with love...
Its just something you live with ..

Hugs to you and people here understand , many non bird people think we are Nuts ... maybe we are , Nuts over our fids... smile.gif

I fully understand. I have found that a new baby tends to just suddenly show up when I least expect it.
