I had the flu and now I've got just a regular cold (back to back, what fun) and I'm coughing like crazy. Jade has learned a pretty decent impersonation of my cough. I didn't realize that's what she was doing for a while (I've been coughing for about two weeks), partly because I make so much noise when I'm coughing that I couldn't hear her. But just now, she was waiting to do her bit in between my coughs so I COULD hear her. Of course, it makes me laugh, which makes me cough, which makes HER cough, which makes me laugh ... shampoo, rinse, repeat. I wonder if she'll keep doing that sound after I finally stop coughing. IF I ever stop coughing ... Clyde just squawks at me when I cough. I think it makes him mad.

I had a cough a couple of years ago that lasted for about 4 months. To this day Quincy still coughs, he's so funny and it sounds quite real. So you probably have a little "sicky" on your hands for awhile now

I'd noticed Kiko hollered every time I coughed when I brought her home. I've just had the night thing where I get rough when I'm laying down too long. She yells once for ever cough... if I can stifle it to one, she barks back at me once. If I cough twice, she barks back twice. It's like a bad comedy routine. LOL Especially at two in the morning....

My tiel used to chime in whenever I coughed, sneezed or blew my nose. He had a different noise for each and they used to make me laugh so hard!

I've had bad allergies for the last week and Mojo now copies my sniffle. Of course my boyfriend gets a kick out of it because he thinks my bird is making fun of me. It doesn't help when she laughs right after either.
