Hi everyone,

I just completed an upgrade to our forum software. The upgrade affects all parts of the forum, including the Photo Gallery and Blogs - and you'll notice a few things look or act a little differently (but hopefully better - LOL!)

One thing you'll notice right away is that the forum shows all posts as "unread." This is because this version of the software tracks posts that have been read a little differently (and BETTER than before). But in order to do that, it had to reset everything back to the beginning. You can go to each topic and from the new pull-down Forum Options menu, select "Mark Forum as Read and Return." This will mark that entire topic as read, and from here on out it will keep track of the posts you have read correctly.

You'll also notice that when you reply to a post or start a new thread that the editor looks different. Part of the software upgrade is an enhancement to the editor that makes it easier to use. In fact, there are actually TWO editors to choose from now. Your account has defaulted to use the "Standard" editor, but there is also a "Rich Text" editor that you can choose to use.

To switch between the two editors, simply click on "My Controls" at the top of any page, then under the Options section (within the menu on the left side of the page) click on "Board Settings." Scroll down to the bottom of the page - the editor setting is the last option.

This is just a couple of the major enhancements to our forum that occurred this weekend. We'll be sharing more after we've had a chance to explore the new features ourselves.
