I lost my zebra finch, Princess recently. The poor thing has been sick for a while. My poor baby, I miss her.

She was only about I would say... 5 or 6 years old. So for a finch she was getting there. Her symptoms pointed to pnemonia. None of my other birds got sick except for her mate, Sparky. But he went through some medications and he is now fine. My Princess went blind in one eye at first, then she started showing alot of respiratory problems. I couldnt afford the vet at the time. But she went away pretty quick. Well, thank you all for your thoughts. Some people say she was just a finch. But to me she was family. Im sure you all understand.

Thanks for the answer to my first post Cathy....Yea, she may have been just a finch but she was your baby and we understand...We know our birds are our family and we hurt when we lose one....I grieve with you...

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my QP several months ago and I can understand your pain. They are part of our family and will always be in our hearts.
